The German Rap Crew Berlin Boys is abandoning Germany: After difficult years in the underground, where the band has been chased and dissed due to their religious and ethnical background, the Berlin Boys answer the call of the USA. Thanks to the financial support of German Rapper the band got a deal with one of the hottest US-producers ever!
Racism, sexism and violence form the lyrics of the Berlin Boys. Nevertheless their records were sold under the counter thousandfold. Songs like “Crack ist meine Kirche (“Crack is my Church”) and “Ficken wie Hitler” (“Fuck it like Hitler”) were huge Hits on YouTube until they were deleted. Bingeing and underage sex are reality! But the German Authority is threatening to forbid these controversial lyrics. The new Song “Hass” is supposed to be released in the United States. While the band in overseas, the fans can keep up with what is going on at www.myspace.com/berlinboys666.
We are happy to announce that Jens Hoffmann has been nominated for the German Camera Award „Deutscher Kamerapreis 2009” for his outstanding work in the film “9to5 – Days in Porn”.
Jens Hoffmann’s documentary about the everyday lives of people who work in the American adult entertainment industry was up against 420 other productions and found itself nominated with just three other films in the Documentary category.
The film depicts the stories of several characters behind this multi-billion industry from Prague to San Fernando Valley. It unveils moments, from glamorous to grotesque, strange to fascinating, with offensive, absurd and sometimes funny moments happening all at once.
Jens Hoffmann spent several years in San Fernando Valley in California to give an authentic insight into the protagonists’ lives. The movie had it’s world premiere at the World Film Festival in Montréal and celebrated huge success at a number of famous film festivals such as in Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Miami and London.
Quality speaks its own language. A typical phrase that is used very often, unfortunately mostly without any reference to your own perception. At least concerning music television and its content. But this is changing! The colognian WEB-TV station BUNCH TV, is undergoing a complete relaunch. Within this relaunch we assume the strategic PR and media cooperations according to the broadcasting formats.
An old rule says: Guerrilla never tells. Here we do not tell, but we leave real RocknRoll where it belongs: in the streets. Soon on every quoin and in every cinema.
At least at the flicks and in our hearts! And we carry the German HipHop Heroes such as Sido & the AGGRO Family, K.I.Z. Max Herre etc. on the right track and the red carpet respectively, cooperate with all relevant HipHop media and implement a “Tribute To Notorious”-Track with Curse, Olli Banjo and Tone. Elvis is still alive as well, in fact, but we do not deal with that. Not yet…
Blockbuster? Looking for a local music coop? Not the ordinary job? Neverest asked Top 10 selling artist Thomas D. to do a song for “The Day the Earth stood still”, which can be found beneath. Maybe we didn’t save the world, but at least apocalypse sounds good now.
German comic legend Hotze will break the two-dimensional rules in 2009. Artists Bringmann & Kopetzki will take their character to clubs and festivals. Neverest supports this great idea from now on. Please stay tuned for news or drop us a mail for further information.
