We are very pleased that Jens Hoffmann has been nominated for the GERMAN CAMERA AWARD 2009 for his camera work in the film 9to5 – DAYS IN PORN.
Jens Hoffmann’s documentary about the daily lives of people in the American porn industry started the race alongside 420 other productions and was able to celebrate a nomination for camera work in the DOCUMENTARY category along with three other films.
For 9to5 – DAYS IN PORN, Jens Hoffmann spent several years in California’s San Fernando Valley to provide an authentic insight into the lives of his protagonists from the porn industry5. The film had its world premiere at the Montreal Film Festival and has since celebrated great success at a number of internationally renowned festivals. At all film festivals, 9to5 – DAYS IN PORN was able to impress both critics and audiences, celebrating with completely sold-out screenings.
