Until now, film and photo productions had to approach the capital’s history-laden museums via the official and senate channels. This could take time and was a matter of luck or months of preliminary work. Since the beginning of 2016, Museum & Location, a subsidiary of the Verein der Freunde der Nationalgalerie, has been handling such requests. The advantages are short decision-making processes and personal support, adapted to the production, from the initial discussion to the implementation on site.
