Clooney, Goats and Good Deeds

In the film “The Men Who Stare at Goats,” George Clooney must kill innocent goats by merely staring at them. This caused sleepless nights for the self-proclaimed goat lover. Neverest was promptly commissioned to do penance on Clooney’s behalf: For the benefit of a project by CARE Deutschland-Luxemburg e.V. and on behalf of Kinowelt, Neverest organized a charity screening for the film’s premiere. The evening’s proceeds were used to purchase goats for a good cause: as livestock for families living in poverty in third world countries. Celebrities from film, music, and entertainment were invited. However, the guests of honor were different: 70 goats lined the red carpet, making it a highlight for press and guests. Surrounded by the New Earth Army teams, our cooperation partner the German Federal Association of Goat Breeders, and a genuine Goat Queen, around 3000 euros in donations were collected. With this, 100 goats could be provided to families in need.
