Firefly: The Serenity successfully lands at home

To put it briefly in interstellar terms: 14 episodes of the western-style science fiction series “Firefly” were filmed, but due to low viewership, only 11 were aired. Abysmal. But then quality paved its way: Fans were outraged, a veto was submitted by postcard (ask your parents), to no avail. After the DVD release, the thing went through the roof: Astronaut Steven Swanson took a copy on the Atlantis mission to space in 2007. Welcome home! The screenwriter and director Joss Whedon then went on to make Toy Story, Marvel’s Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Alien – Resurrection, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., etc… Now the series just needs to be landed properly: Spaceport Tele 5! To support the Free TV launch, we’re backing Firefly with blog support and social media.
